Contract opportunity in a large global organization in New York. You will develop user manuals, technical instructions, online help and other technical publications.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in FrameMaker (XML), templates, EDD a plus Solid RoboHelp
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, good interviewing skills
  • Experience with research in technical and engineering information, including drawings, design and test specs, product prototypes
  • Experience working with translation vendors for localization
  • Work with all phases of the document development cycle

Senior Technical Writer (DITA), Santa Clara, CA

ASML Brion has an open position for a Senior Technical Writer III. The role requires  you to work 100% onsite in Santa Clara, CA, there is no telecommute option, and relocation assistance is not available. We do not work with recruiting firms or use outsourced documentation services, and any responses of this sort will be ignored. Mandatory requirements include at least 10 years of experience documenting complex technology products, including 2 years hands-on with DITA in a high-volume production environment. Other must-haves include expert knowledge of FrameMaker 10, RoboHelp 9, Photoshop CS5, and MS Office 2010.

ID/eLearning designer/developer 1 year contract

A client is looking to hire an intermediate-senior ID/eLearning developer for a full time job at Shoppers Drug Mart. The candidate must have strong learning design and storyboarding skills and just as strong technical skills for elearning dev (Lectora/Articulate), and must be able to work with graphic design. The candidate also be supporting podcast/videocast and other learning tech initiatives.
